Brandy reportedly performed for a crowd of no more than 40 people at the end of the Mandela Sports And Culture Day in South Africa on Saturday. The devastated singer allegedly walked offstage after only two songs at the 90,000 seat FNB stadium.
“Brandy performed to an empty stadium. With the stadium lights on,” tweeted South African musician, Kabomo.
“People didn’t know there was a concert after the games. No one knew Brandy was around. Maybe a 40 people audience”
Brandy is popular in South Africa, but her surprise performance was not revealed to the fans, who left thinking the day was over.
