Blake Shelton admits he’s not thrilled to be up against Usher on “The Voice.” Blake tells “People” that the R&B star “stepped into this thing having basically won ‘The Voice’ already,” given Usher’s history with Justin Bieber. He explains that when “you discover, and work with, and mentor Justin Bieber,” it leaves the rest of them knowing they have a proven talent scout to contend with. Shelton adds that it “isn’t fair,” because Usher’s already found a singing superstar. He also says viewers might notice that he’s staring a lot at Shakira this season. Blake explains that he’s actually gazing past Usher, to avoid the “cocky and confident” look he has on his face. The fourth season of “The Voice” launched on NBC Monday night. Another episode airs Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
