In an epic showdown that is sure to be a classic, down 5-3 in the third set, Serena Williams came back to win her 4th U.S Open title when she defeated [Belarusian player] Victoria Azarenka.
This is the first U.S. Open women’s final to go the distance since 1995, and Serena is the first woman to win Wimbledon and the U.S. Open in the same season since she did it a decade ago.
