After tackling projects of their own this year, with The Three Stooges and Sparkle respectively, Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks are teaming up for a new project.According to Deadline.com, the divas will act together in the new George Tillman Jr.-directed film, The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister And Pete. The movie is currently in production in Brooklyn, and follows two inner-city youths who must fend for themselves during the summer after their mothers are taken away.
Alicia Keys is listed as the executive producer of the State Street Pictures production, which also stars Anthony Mackie. A release date is currently unknown.
