While many other singers are enjoying crossover status on to the silver screen, R&B singer Ne-Yo seems to be focused on his music. The hit-maker recently revealed that he turned down an acting role (to play MARTIN LUTHER KING JR!) over a conflict with his album promotion schedule. And by “conflict,” we mean weight gain.
Ne-Yo said that, in order to prepare for the role as the legendary civil rights leader, film producers asked him to gain 30 lbs.
