Well the debate is about to be stirred up again. Is it okay to use the N-word or not, if it’s used as a term of endearment? Well, it seems as if musical artist “Common” thinks so, because recently he has used the word several times in a song titled “The Dream.”
The only problem, is that he had ask Maya Angelou to write and recite a poem for the song. Here’s the thing, Ms. Angelou has made it very clear how she feels about the use of the word, and was unaware that her work was being used on such a song.
