Super Bowl Sunday is a tough act to follow, but now that there’s no football, what are you going to do with your weekend? The Black College Expo is all day tomorrow at the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta. Students – both 11th and 12th graders and college transfer students – can possibly get accepted on the spot if they bring your transcripts and SAT and/or ACT scores. Also, band scholarships may be given on the spot too, so bring your instruments!
Also tomorrow is Cupid’s Undie Run, a unique charitable event in Washington D.C. Participants run a 1.75 mile lap around the U.S. Capitol building in their Valentine’s Day-themed underwear to raise money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Meet up at the Pourhouse on Pennsylvania Avenue at noon, and have fun!
