A few romantic movies, in which the man and woman get married, would make him understand a little bit more about the idea. Also, this way you spend more time with one another and make things more romantic and obvious. Weddings and engagement parties are also a very good way to show your man what it would be like to get married.
Take him to these parties with you. Your married friends, if you have any, can also tell your man the greatness that comes out of being married or hint to him on when you two plan to get married.
