Flava Flav is a reality TV hog. Now his new chicken joint in Clinton, IA is being looked at as the focal point for a new show. Crews filmed the grand opening of the restaurant recently and now the owners are working on a “sizzle reel,” a 10-15 minute promo piece.
“As long as the content is right, it is very likely (to be picked up),” Flav said.
“This is an idea I’ve been having for awhile. When my manager told them about this idea, they jumped on it.”
According to the Rublic Enemy hype man, the show will feel something like “Happy Days” and give audiences the opportunity to see what it’s like running a franchise. By the way, this means another show idea about Flav going back to high school will be put on hold.
Otherwise, business is steady, despite rumors that payroll couldn’t be paid.
Nick Camino, co-owner of the company, says there have been a few bumps, but everything is under control.
