Investigators say the suspect approached an employee who was taking out the trash. He flashed a hand gun and forced her back inside.
The suspect then forced her and two other workers into a walk-in freezer. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police believe this man may be connected to several other business robberies on the northwest side. Someone robbed the Popeye’s Chicken next door to Chuck E Cheese last month, also as the business was about to open.
Officers gave some safety tips for employees in the area.
