Mariah Carey has finished recording new album: ‘Coming soon’

Mariah Carey recently launched a new project with lead single “Type Dangerous,” which quickly rose to the top of the US iTunes Singles Chart. In an interview celebrating the 10th anniversary of her album “The Emancipation of Mimi,” Carey revealed that her upcoming album is finished and will feature 11 or 12 songs, including some classic “Mariah ballads.” She hinted at a second single release and described the album as summery with an exciting beat. This project marks Carey’s return to the music scene after her 2018 album “Caution.”
