Netflix to Steam ‘Sesame Street ‘

Netflix has announced a deal with Sesame Workshop to bring the next season of “Sesame Street” exclusively to the streaming platform, starting with Season 56 later this year. The show will also continue to be available on PBS stations and PBS Kids digital platforms in the U.S. The new season will feature format changes and the return of fan-favorite segments like Elmo’s World and Cookie Monster’s Foodie Truck, with episodes centered on one 11-minute story. The deal aims to continue providing educational content to children worldwide and strengthen the public-private partnership between Netflix, PBS, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
