Gary Teenage Girl Missing, $20,000 Reward Being Offered

GARY, Ind.–Ja’Niyah McMichael has been missing since Aug. 12, 2024, when she was last seen along Malcolm X Blvd. in Gary. Now the FBI is offering a $20,000 cash reward for accurate information on her whereabouts.

They want all information, no matter how small, said a news release.

McMichael is 14, Black, 5 ft. tall, 110 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, with pajama pants and black and red shoes.

Police do suspect she has been a victim of foul play.

Several attempts to rally the community to find her, with participation from friends, family and neighbors, have proven fruitless.
