Snoop Dogg Seals New Pact With NBCUniversal for His Death Row Pictures
Snoop Dogg has signed a new creative partnership with NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios, covering film, television, sports entertainment, and streaming. The deal includes Snoop’s return as a coach on “The Voice” and a Universal biopic about his life. The new pact also marks the launch of Death Row Pictures, Snoop’s production shingle, with plans for innovative onscreen storytelling. Snoop expressed excitement about the partnership; “Not everyone has the courage and vision to see what Death Row Pictures can bring to the table, but Donna(Langley) and the NBCUniversal team have always understood, which is why I am proud to call NBCUniversal my new home,” Snoop said in a statement. “The Dogg has officially moved into the neighborhood, ya dig?” The multi-talented artist has sold over 40 million albums worldwide and received numerous accolades, including being named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People.
