Diddy Trial to Proceed as Planned as Judge Denies 2-Month Extension

A Manhattan judge ruled in favor of Sean “Diddy” Combs by barring testimony from two prior accusers in his upcoming sex-trafficking trial. The judge will allow a third accuser, referred to as “Victim 5,” to testify using her name. Combs also gained access to drafts of a memoir written by a key prosecution witness and was granted permission to subpoena Warner Bros for raw footage from interviews of two accusers. Prosecutors had sought to add the three new accusers to the trial witness list, arguing their testimony was crucial, but Combs’ lawyers opposed, claiming it would be more inflammatory than the charges.
