‘Paradise’ Renewed for Season 2 at Hulu
Hulu has renewed the drama series “Paradise” for a second season ahead of its season one finale. The series ‘Paradise’ renewed for Season 2 follows a murder investigation in a serene community inhabited by prominent individuals. Sterling K. Brown stars as Secret Service agent
Xavier Collins and James Marsden as President Cal Bradford. Creator Dan Fogelman has a three-season plan for the series, with each season offering a different storyline .“I have a plan for three seasons of the show. Without giving away too much, each season of the show is a slightly different show, within the same show with the same characters,” he said. “There’s twists and turns in the course of the season. Then the seventh episode is kind of a standalone episode of the show. As we go into second season, we pivot a little bit, but in a way that I think is very follow-able. But yes, there’s big moves ahead.”
The finale of season one on March 4 promises to answer key questions and set the stage for the next season. The show has garnered strong viewership numbers since its premiere. Paradise released its sixth of eight episodes this week. Following the finale, the announcement of “Paradise” renewed for Season 2 assures fans of more episodes. Paradise will get a full first season run on ABC beginning starting April 7 at 10 p.m. Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Jon Beavers, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Charlie Evans, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and Enuka Okuma round out the cast.
