Alicia Keys is getting into the bling business with a new line of necklaces in partnership with The Barber’s Daughters designer Gisele Theriault.

Due out in fall 2010, the collection will range in price from $85 to $2,500 and feature precious metals and gems inscribed with inspirational messages, reports People.com.

Alicia first met Gisele while she was touring in Toronto through her bandmates, who happened to be buying the jewelry backstage at her show.

“I fell in love with the individuality of the pieces, but more than that, the words that were written on them really resonated with the songwriter in me,” Alicia tells WWD about Gisele’s pieces, which are inscribed with poetry and prayers. “I knew at that moment, for the first time, that through a whole other medium I would be able to spread inspiration, and that’s what got me started.”

A two-day preview of Alicia’s collection of necklaces for The Barbara’s Daughters will take place in New York at Collette Blanchard Gallery at 26 Clinton Street. Alicia’s jewelry has already gotten some celebrity love from Halle Berry, who purchased a one-of-a-kind piece for $40,000 at a charity auction.
