Senator Cory Booker is formally kicking off his presidential campaign in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey. The former mayor is promising justice in America. Booker told an enthusiastic crowd Saturday the nation should not wait for criminal justice reform, gun control, or a better immigration system. Booker rolled out his “Justice for All” tour saying politics in DC are broken. The New Jersey senator also vowed to legalize marijuana federally, to protect women’s reproductive rights and to hold polluters accountable for climate change. Booker is one of six senators seeking 2020 Democratic nomination.
