George Foreman’s daughter Freeda, who followed in her dad’s footsteps into the world of boxing, has died at 42. She was found dead in her home near Houston by a relative, according to TMZ. Foreman began a boxing career in 2000 as a middleweight fighter.  Freeda, one of George’s 12 children, winning five out of the only six fights she was ever in.  George didn’t want his daughter to fight to become women’s world boxing champion, saying “this isn’t what I wanted for you.”  George feared his daughter would be severely injured while boxing.  Freeda did eventually leave the ring but stayed inside boxing as a promoter.  There are rumors that George paid Freeda to leave the leave her boxing ambitions. Freeda Foreman leaves behind a husband, two daughters and three grandchildren.
