Climate change could cause a hike in beer prices.  A new study published in the journal Nature Plants says droughts and higher temperatures caused by climate change will reduce the amount of barley being produced.  Crops of the main ingredient in beer could drop anywhere from three to 17-percent.  That would limit the beer supply, significantly cutting the amount of beer Americans drink.  It would also raise the price of beer, possibly putting the drink out of reach for millions of people around the world.
