Hate crimes are rising in America’s ten biggest cities.  The Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism found reported hate crimes jumped more than 12 percent in major population centers last year.  It’s the fourth year in a row the numbers have gone up.  The targets of hate crimes vary.  In New York, almost half of reported incidents were against Jewish people.  In Boston, it was African Americans and in Los Angeles, homosexuals.
