Michael Jackson’s estate says it does not approve of a new ABC documentary about the late pop icon. In a statement yesterday, his estate said it did not give the green light for the making of “The Last Days of Michael Jackson,” which focuses on his final days before his 2009 death. It also said the documentary will likely exploit Jackson’s life and violate property rights. ABC News said in its own statement yesterday it explores Jackson’s life and career, and does not infringe on any rights. The network added that it did remove a photo of him from promotional material as a courtesy. “The Last Days of Michael Jackson” airs on ABC tonight.
