Hey Indy!!  Spring is here and maybe this weekend, Indiana will feel a little like Spring with temps in the 60’s today.  That’s great because Earth Day is here and there are plenty of events going on today; check out some of them below.

  • WTLC’s very own Loverman, Jerry Wade will be out at Hendricks Regional Health in Brownsburg to help you register for the 27th Annual Susan G Komen Race For the Cure taking place next Saturday, April 28th.  Register for Jerry’s team SISTERS FOR THE CURE team so we can help fight breast cancer together.  More information is available at tlcnaptown.com
  • Get the family together for the RACE FOR AN ORPHAN 5K at Craig Park today.  This is a family race to help support the mission of the Boaz Project.  There’s going to be activities along the trail and much more.  Details available at theboazproject
  • It’s FREE COMMUNITY SHREDDING FEST today at the Comprehensive REtirement Solutions & CRS Tax Solutions in Carmel to help celebrate Earth Day.  Get a jump on spring cleaning at this 4th annual event.  The’ll even accept electronics.  More information available at nuvo.net
  • The 2018 EARTH DAY FESTIVAL will be held on today from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Historic Military Park at White River State Park. Come to the festival for local food vendors, kid’s activities, over 125 exhibitors, live music, and a 5K run/walk.  More information is available at earthdayindiana.org
