Congratulations to Filmmaker Victoria Mahoney! She has been hired on by J.J. Abrams to be the second director for “Star Wars: Episode IX.” Mahoney wrote on Twitter, where the news was announced, “this one’s for the outliers, dreaming big in small corners of the earth.” “Episode IX ” will be the final movie in the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy. It is expected to come out next year.
