Kenya Barris executive producer and creator has signed a deal with ABC. He will keep his creative juice at the network to create new shows such as the spinoff of ‘Black-ish’ Liberal Arts.  Barris is working on a new comedy sitcom “Libby and Malcolm”, with Felicity Huffman and Courtney B. Vance; and also a drama Unit Zero.

According to The Hollywood Reporter

Black-ish, currently in its third season, is a slam dunk to be renewed for a fourth run. The series this year earned three Emmy nominations, two SAG noms and three Golden Globe noms, with leading lady Tracee Ellis Ross taking home the Golden Globe for best actress in a TV comedy.
