Jordan Peele made history a month ago being the first African- American Writer / Director to gross $100 million dollars for his first film “GET OUT”. He has made history again as the first African- American Writer/ Director to gross over $200 million dollars for the movie “GET OUT”. “GET OUT” is now $3 million away from passing the record for the highest-grossing debut from an African-American director Clark Johnson’s 2003 film S.W.A.T. Jordan Peele just signed a exclusive deal with Universal Pictures.
Peele is following up Get Out with a social thriller in the vein of his racial horror picture, which was made with a production budget of only $4.5 million.
