DMX checking in

Fans are a little upset that some of DMX’s shows have been cancelled, but his manager Pat Gallo says it for good reasons.  Last week his reps said he had to cancel shows due to a medical emergency.  We’ve now found out that DMX is headed to a rehab facility in California according to TMZ.com.

This is not his first stay in rehab as he’s been at several throughout the years.  Sources say this time is different because X felt he was slipping to a dark place.

TMZ.com obtained a statement from his manager who apologized to the fans for the postponed shows and goes on to say “It is important right now that he take some time off to focus on his health so that he can be a better father, friend and entertainer”
