When Mercedes Edney of Charlotte, North Carolina put it out there that she wanted to attend esthetician school, she did receive some help.
Edney, who has created her own line of products called Ixora Botanical Beauty, needed $6,000 to be able to pay for tuition to get through school. She was only able to accrue a little over $300.
On Friday, Teigen Paypaled the remaining balance of $5,605 to Edney’s crowd-fund on YouCaring.com. With her donation came the message, “I’ve seen this be your passion for such a long time now. So excited to see you fulfill your dream!”
