US Weekly reports that Chaka Khan has cancelled her upcoming performances in California and those scheduled throughout July. Reps for Chaka Khan say that she entered a rehab program to get healthy.
The “I’m Every Woman” Diva was very close to the late and great Prince, who apparently had a longtime struggle with addiction to pain killers prior to his death. Chaka has been known for fighting with drug & alcohol problems in the past and has been to rehab before; it seems as though she wants to get better before the problem gets worse.
