Indy metro police are investigating a gruesome discovery found Monday night on Indy’s northeast side, human remains. Investigators say they were found in a wooded area near a pond, close to 34th Street and Shadeland Avenue in the 6400 block of Olivia Lane. IMPD officials say the Marion County Coroner’s Office is working to determine the identity, cause and manner of death. IMPD is not commenting on whether they’ve tied the remains to any open cases.

There are reports that the Uber driver accused of killing six people in a shooting spree this weekend in Kalamazoo, Michigan admitted that he “took people’s lives.” Jason Dalton is said to have made the admission to investigators. Dalton, who grew up here in Central Indiana, is now being charged for six counts of murder for randomly shooting people between pick-ups and while he was working a shift for Uber.

A Bartholomew County father, accidentally shot by his six-year-old son, is dead. The sheriff’s department there says James Lonaker died Sunday night on his way to the hospital. Investigators believe Lonaker was sitting at his desk in his Hartsville home and didn’t see his little boy pick up the .38-caliber revolver. The gun belonged to Lonaker.

A popular skating rink venue is making some changes after a weekend disturbance. Children under the age of 18 can no longer be dropped off and unsupervised at Skateland Indy. The policy was changed after police had to disperse about 100 teenagers Saturday night because of overcrowding issues. Officials say the crowd resulted from a social media post that advertised a lock-in party that wasn’t really happening. Fighting was reported outside the building, but police say there were no injuries and no one was arrested.

Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are showing up in interesting places and picking up high-profile endorsements as they continue their race for the White House. A photograph appeared on the Instagram page of an actor from ABC’s “Scandal.” Scott Foley (“Jake”) posted that photo featuring Clinton hanging out on the show’s set Monday night. Clinton was in Los Angeles raising funds before stopping by the set. Folks are now wondering whether she’ll make a cameo on the show. Meanwhile Sanders is picking up a voice and endorsement of another someone you may know…film director Spike Lee. Lee is also lending his voice to an ad for Sanders where he discusses the candidate’s activism and activities in the Civil Rights Movement. Lee opens the one-minute spot saying, “Waaaaake up! Wake up, South Carolina!” The Chi-Raq director says he is officially endorsing his “brother, Bernie Sanders.”

The public opinion polls say Donald Trump should breeze to first place in the Nevada Republican caucuses tonight. A recent CNN/ORC International poll shows Trump leading Florida Senator Marco Rubio, 45-19 percent. Texas Senator Ted Cruz is third with 17-percent of likely GOP caucus-goers. Trump is coming off a big primary victory Saturday in South Carolina.

Bill Cosby’s wife isn’t done answering questions in a lawsuit seven women have filed against her comedian/actor/philanthropist husband. Camille Cosby testified in a deposition that went on for seven hours Monday, but she answered questions for only two and-a-half hours. The women claim Bill Cosby sexually assaulted them.

Sports…

Paul George scored a game-high 31 points but it wasn’t quite enough as the Pacers fell to the Heat in overtime 101-93 at American Airlines Arena Monday night. The Pacers are now heading home after a three-game road trip to face the Knicks Wednesday.

Ironically on the same day Governor Pence is addressing drug usage among those living in Indiana, an Indianapolis Colts player’s drug arrest has now cost him his job with the team. The Colts have released linebacker Jonathan Newsome following his arrest for possession of marijuana last week.  Newsome was arrested on February 17 at his Zionsville apartment.  The fifth-round pick in 2014 was also arrested for possession of marijuana while at Ball State and suspended two games. Newsome recorded just one sack this season after collecting six-and-a-half during his rookie year.
