Camille Cosby has been deposed concerning several of the allegations against her husband, actor Bill Cosby. Get the details inside.
Camille, who has stood by Bill’s side while roughly 50 women accuse him of sexual assault (some dating as far back as 40 years), was ordered to speak out about it during a deposition Monday morning. This is said to be the first time Camille has been deposed where she answered tough questions under oath. It all went down at the Springfield Marriott Hotel in Springfield, MA.
Curtains covered the windows of the room so no one could see inside. The only other people in the room with her were most likely Camille, the lawyers representing the family and stenographer. Her answers and the conversations that took place are likely to be sealed from the public.
While dozens of cases has been filed against the disgraced actor, Camille was set to speak on seven.
She and Bill have been married for 52 years.
She broke her silence more than a year ago back in December 2014 after the allegations first began.
“He is the man you thought you knew. None of us will ever want to be in the position of attacking a victim. But the question should be asked– who is the victim?”
