The Weeknd

The Weeknd is pleading not guilty of accusations that he punched a Las Vegas police officer in January.  TMZ reports the singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, appeared in court Wednesday, where his plea meant no jail time for him as long as he complies with the judge’s orders.  The singer will have to complete anger management, alcohol evaluation, 50-hours of community service and a fine of one-thousand-dollars to an injured police fund.  He’s being allowed to complete these orders in his native Canada.  The incident stemmed from a January altercation inside Las Vegas’ Cromwell Hotel.
