After a somewhat shaky start people are starting to like the sound of Apple Music.  Apple CEO Tim Cook tells the “Wall Street Journal” that the service now has six-point-five-million paid subscribers.  The streaming music platform was launched in August and drew heavy criticism from pop icon Taylor Swift.  Swift said it was unfair that artists wouldn’t be paid for music they provided during the free-trial phase of the service.  Shortly after Swift penned a public letter, Apple changed face and announced they would compensate artists even when subscribers didn’t pay.  Apple still falls short of streaming-giant Spotify which boast 20-million paid users.
