Media mogul Rupert Murdoch set off a firestorm of controversy after posting a racially-charged tweet. The Fox News owner wrote the following about 2016 GOP presidential candidate, Ben Carson:
The cause of the uproar is the phrase, “real black President.” Some on Twitter expressed outrage that Murdoch appeared to be questioning whether President Obama is really black.
#BlackTwitter has a lot of allies “going in” on Murdoch as this story continues to spread on social media.
