The NFL Players Association is praising the decision from Judge Richard M. Berman to throw out Tom Brady’s four-game “deflategate” suspension.  Union head DeMaurice Smith says the rights of the Patriots quarterback and all NFL players under the collective bargaining agreement were affirmed by a federal judge in a court of the NFL’s choosing.  Smith says the decision proves once and for all that the CBA doesn’t give Commissioner Roger Goodell the authority to be unfair, arbitrary and misleading.  Goodell says the league will appeal to protect the integrity of the game and his office’s responsibilities.
