Nevada officials are confirming B.B. King’s death stemmed from natural causes. The Clark County Coroner’s office released a press release Monday, where it was confirmed King’s death was caused primarily by Alzheimer’s disease. The results put to rest accusations by his two daughters that he was murdered. King’s death at the age of 89 in May this year is also attributed to coronary artery disease, diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure and brain damage from blood flow.
King’s cause of death was determined through an autopsy, toxicology tests and a consultation with a neuropathologist. The examination also found that even though King had suffered from strokes, they didn’t kill him.
