Mariah Carey wasn’t making fun of her estranged husband in “Infinity”–or at least that’s what she wants you to believe.
Mimi’s latest single was a word for somebody. Seeing as how she’s going through a divorce with Nick Cannon, we thought she was talking about him.
However, TMZ.com reports that some sources close to Mariah claim that it’s “not specifically about her relationship with Nick.” Mimi’s camp insists that “Infinity” is actually an anthem for all women who tend to “lose themselves in their man.”
There don’t seem to be any hard feelings from Nick either, because he promoted Mariah’s upcoming album on his Instagram.
In other Mariah news, she has breezed into Las Vegas ahead of her residency with a grand entrance. It’s Mimi; we expect no less.
She rolled onto the strip in a luxury drop-top with a caravan of her greatest hits as billboards emblazoned with the titles of her biggest songs trailed behind her.
