R. Kelly will help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the “Bloody Sunday” attack on civil rights marchers in Selma, Alabama. According to AL.com, the singer will join Lady Gaga, T.I., Jeezy and others at an anniversary concert in Selma on Saturday. The concert will kick off following President Obama’s speech commemorating the historic events surrounding the Selma to Montgomery march. On March 7th, 1965 peaceful marchers met violent resistance from police in Selma.
