Marion "Suge" Knight Arraignment

Former rap mogul Marion “Suge”Knight’s health issues are still a concern for his lawyer. On Monday, attorney David Kenner opened up on the potential severity of the blood clots that sent Suge to the hospital last week.

In video posted by TMZ.com, Kenner adds that Suge should’ve remained in the hospital, instead of being returned to jail. He also explained that his team has filed a motion to get Suge a medical evaluation first by medical staff at the jail and then by a private physician. The Death Row Records co-founder was due in court Monday for a bail hearing, but it was set back until March 20th. Until then, Suge is being held without bail on murder and attempted murder charges stemming from a hit-and-run that left one person dead and another injured. Prosecutors believe Suge intentionally ran down the men following a fight on a shoot for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic, “Straight Outta Compton.” If convicted, Suge could face life in prison under California’s “three strikes” law.
