Bobby ShmurdaBobby Shmurda and GS9 are facing a number of serious charges. The group’s first bit of good new in a while — albeit ephemeral — will have to wait.

Shmurda’s bondsman Ira Judelson secured his $2 million bail last Friday, but the New York Times has reported that amount has just been withdrawn. Thus, he’ll remain jailed after being in police custody since December. Shmurda’s new attorney bondsman Ira Judelson Kenneth J. Montgomery confirmed the news.

“We’re trying to do a new bond application and are in the process in the figuring that out,” he  said. “We’re hoping to get it done within the next week.”

Gs9 is facing gang conspiracy charges, and Shmurda’s charges include two counts of 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon and one count of criminal possession of a firearm.
