Will Smith’s new drama about concussions in the NFL will arrive on Christmas Day. Titled “Concussion,” the Sony film will revolve around neuropathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu — played by Smith — who fought to raise awareness of the brain trauma suffered by NFL players. The film also stars Alec Baldwin, Luke Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Paul Reiser. “Parkland” director Peter Landesman wrote and directed the film, which was inspired by an article titled “Game Brain” that was originally printed in “GQ.”

Think the NFL is gonna be watching this movie closely when it comes out in December?
