“And here we go”…

Rapper 50 Cent says there’s something familiar about the roll out for the upcoming Fox hip-hop drama series “Empire.” On Instagram, 50 accuses the makers of “Empire” of copying the marketing scheme for his hit Starz series “Power.” Even though he’s not happy with “Empire’s” roll out, the G-Unit leader says he’s a fan of “Empire” stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. He also plugged the upcoming second season of his series, saying that it’s “unbelievably good.” He adds that the show has the “best writers and show runner.”

The first episode of “Empire” is set to air on January 7th. The second season of “Power” will get underway sometime next year.
