Michael Strahan will celebrate the year’s best films at the 20th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. The “Live! With Kelly and Michael” co-host has been tapped to emcee the January 15th awards show. In a statement, Strahan points out that the Critics’ Choice Awards show “paves the way for the upcoming awards season.” The former football star also praises the competitive nature of this awards show due to the fact that the winners are selected by critics who make their livings watching and reviewing films. A&E will broadcast The Critics’ Choice Awards live from the Hollywood Palladium at 9:00 pm Eastern.
