Tonight is a great night for local entertainment as the plunging temperature outside puts you in the holiday mood. Based on the book written by the late-Ted Boyd (first published in 1972), “The Black Snowflake” hits stage this evening at the Madame Walker Theatre on Indiana Ave. in downtown Indy at 8 p.m. Boyd’s widow, retired media maven Barbara Boyd and their daughter, Karen Boyd-Beamon, carry on Boyd’s legacy, with a theatrical production of the holiday classic that’s waiting to entertain you and your family.  It’s a timeless tale of overcoming adversity and beating the odds when one is different, like the one black snowflake that is different from all the others.
