The late Michael Jackson could get more recognition for his latest posthumous release. The legendary King of Pop is among the nominees for the Soul Train Awards, which will be taped November 7th in Las Vegas. Michael has bids in three categories. His CD “Xscape” is in the running for Album of the Year, while the track “Love Never Felt So Good” featuring Justin Timberlake is up for Song of the Year and Best Collaboration. Elton John and his longtime songwriting partner Bernie Taupin could win an award as well. They’re included in the credits to Aloe Blacc’s hit “The Man,” which uses a line from Elton’s 1971 hit “Your Song.” Blacc’s single is nominated for The Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award. The 2014 Soul Train Awards will be on TV later this month. The ceremony will air on BET and CENTRIC on November 30th.
