Golden Brooks recently sat down with Necole Bitchie to discuss Hollywood Divas and life after girlfriends. Brooks played Maya on TV hit series “Girlfriends” for 10 years along with numerous other TV shows and films like Beauty Shop. Although her career never came to a end she did notice things started to slow down after she had finished with Girlfriends and had her daughter. In the exclusive interview below she discuss what it is like being a African American actress and her respect for Gabrielle Union. Even though it was not yet confirm, she touched on whether or not there will be a “Girlfriends” movie.
