The nominations are in for the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Still reaping rewards from her surprise album and video release last December, it should be of little surprise to fans that Beyonce is leading the list of nominees. “Queen Bey” tops the leader board with eight nominations: four for “Pretty Hurts,” which is nominated for best video for a social message; two for her steamy “Partition” video; and two more for her sexy collaboration with husband Jay Z on “Drunk In Love,” including Video of the Year.
The MTV Video Music Awards airs August 24th live from The Forum 9pm eastern.
