The Standard Hotel has fired the now infamous worker who conveniently leaked the footage of Solange Knowles attacking Jay Z.
“The Standard has identified the individual responsible for breaching the security policies of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video released by TMZ,” hotel officials said in a statement. “The Standard has already terminated the individual and will now be pursuing all available civil and criminal remedies. The Standard will next be turning over all available information to the criminal authorities.”
He might not have a job, but the mystery worker is $250,000 richer thanks to TMZ, according to Page Six. The employee shopped the video around for 5 days before deciding to leak it to the gossip news site.
