Funeral services for Slain IMPD officer Kim Carmack will be at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning. Meridian Street will be closed starting at 9 a.m. Family, friends and law enforcement will gather at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, 1347 North Meridian Street, to remember her life. You may recall, Carmack was shot and killed by her police sergeant ex-husband. Her funeral procession will wind-through the city passing by the district command where she was stationed on the west side, then heading to the cemetery. She will be laid to rest in the Heroes of Public Safety Section of Crown Hill Cemetery. Meridian Street is expected to remain closed until approximately 1 p.m.

- North-bound on Meridian St. at 14th St.
- West on 16th St. to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St.
- South on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. to Michigan, West on Michigan St. to King Ave, North on King Ave to 16th St. (District pass-by)
- East on 16th St. to Belleview Pl.
- North on Belleview PL crossing over Lafayette Rd. to Cold Spring Rd, North on Cold Spring Rd to 38th St.
- East on 38th St. to Capitol Ave
- South on Capitol Ave to 34th St.
- West on 34th St. into Crown Hill Cemetery
