Toni Braxton and Oprah Winfrey have been able to move past their differences and work together! Braxton landed the part as Darlene Love in OWN’s first made for TV movie My Name is Love: The Darlene Love Story. Braxton is no stranger to the small screen as she starred in Lifetime’s Leap Of Faith movie as Nina. If you remember, the “Hurt You” singer called the queen of talk “so frickin mean” during her appearance on Behind The Music back in 2012. She remembered that Oprah “reprimanded” her for having Gucci cookware in the midst of all of her financial struggles that lead to filing for bankruptcy the first time. She then blamed Oprah for ruining her career.
Still, she wasn’t foolish enough to walk away from the new project that’s slated to debut this December. (Who would be?!)
